We advised and represented a European joint venture in its various dispute adjudication board and arbitration proceedings related to the construction of a € 71 million infrastructure project comprising the design and build of a cross-border motorway connecting two countries from Central Europe.

The disputes resulted from a FIDIC Yellow Book type contract concerned the delayed handed over of site due to the late expropriations, delayed issuance of various endorsements and permits required for timely performance of works, the various errors identified in the Employer's Requirements, occurence of exceptionally adverse climatic conditions, late certification of the works performed by the Contractor, unjustified postponement of the taking-over of works by the Employer.
